Our Transitional Housing
Program for homeless families combines housing with aggressive case
management. Families in transition participate in counseling with our Resident
Services Coordinator to secure the skills and resources needed
to achieve economic independence and to secure and maintain
sufficient employment and permanent housing. Families may
remain in the program for up to two years, if needed, but most stay for a year
or less. Our transitional housing families receive priority
placement in our permanent Land Trust housing.
Families are referred
to the program by local homeless shelters and social service
agencies. If you wish to refer a family,
please contact our Resident Services Coordinator, Leigh Campbell for
an application. Leigh can be reached at 524-0747 or
lleigh.campbell
at laclt.org. PLEASE NOTE: THE TRANSITIONAL HOUSING APPLICATION FORM
IS NOT THE SAME AS OUR RENTAL HOUSING APPLICATION FORM. THE
TRANSITIONAL HOUSING APPLICATION MUST BE OBTAINED FROM OUR RESIDENT
SERVICES COORDINATOR AND RETURNED DIRECTLY TO HER FOR PROCESSING.
OUR PROPERTY MANAGER, HODGES, DOES NOT PROCESS TRANSITIONAL HOUSING
APPLICATIONS.
