What is a Community Land Trust?
A Community Land Trust provides access to land, housing, and economic opportunities for low and moderate income families. Land Trusts help communities provide affordable housing, promote resident ownership and control of housing, keep housing affordable for future residents, and make efficient use of public resources for long-term community benefit. Land Trust property is held permanently in trust for the benefit of the community.
